L’The IRENE Association supports creative and sustainable tailoring courses at basic and advanced level at the Spazio3R+ workshop in Milan for young and adult Italian and foreign women living in situations of need. The aim of the courses is to learn tailoring skills, but also to complete one's own training by practicing and simulating simultaneously the creation and management of a real artisanal tailoring shop through co-working, with moments of motivational orientation and simulation of the start of employment.

The project aims to foster social inclusion and employment of women who find themselves in situations of hardship, vulnerability, and unemployment and who are therefore at risk of isolation and exclusion from the context in which they live. The workshop also provides for the re-cycling and re-use of textile materials and scraps, with the aim of fostering creativity while pursuing environmental sustainability.
