Associazione Spazio 3R Riciclo Ricucio Riuso Impresa Sociale is a sustainable artisanal tailoring atelier in Milan aimed at women in vulnerable situations to help them stitch together the pieces of their lives for full social and work integration. Italian and foreign women with different needs, united by the thread of tailoring interpreted with a view to sustainability (all fabrics and materials used are high quality leftovers from companies such as Canali). Tailoring thus becomes an opportunity to Re-Begin.

From 2016 to date, it has supported and followed more than 200 Italian and foreign women who have attended training and internship experiences from more than 35 countries around the world.

Since September 2023, the association has also acquired Social Enterprise status precisely with the aim of becoming a true bridge to the world of work in the tailoring training sector.

When the first tailoring course was launched in 2016 in the first workshop in Viale Lazio in the Porta Romana area where the first operational headquarters is located in collaboration with the CIF (Italian Women's Center), it was not imagined that the project would become a point of reference for so many women that in June 2024 the second workshop was inaugurated, also in Milan in the Naviglio Pavese area. These new spaces will be precisely the site of increasingly professionalizing courses that are born to increasingly strengthen the association's role as a Bridge with the world of work, creating concrete job opportunities that respond to the real needs and difficulties that women encounter even more today in the labor market.

In summary, it is planned to activate intensive 3-month industrial garment making courses for a total of 240h including study visits to companies/laboratories and a placement at the end of the training at the same companies thanks to a mapping and involvement work throughout the course.
